Texas Shufflers: Crews? Meets? Empty Texas Shufflers: Crews? Meets?

Hello all,

This is just a quick topic to discuss what crews there are that operate partly in Texas, if thats how it works. I'm pretty new here so I don't have it all down just yet. Could someone explain how crews work? I mean I know some of the basics, but I'm still trying to figure it all out. Are there any crews or meets in Texas? Thanks,

I'm not sure how a crew works, but I heard there were some in Houston. I even saw a youtube vid of a meet there too. Here is one of the vids: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3M_9SQLpH0 Where I live (Corpus Christi), there are no crews or meets. What part of Texas do you live in?

Thanks for the info, I'll keep looking for meets. If I keep this up for a few more months, maybe I could even start a shuffle crew or something, but that's still off in the future, not sure. I'm in Austin but the problem is this place is filled with Indie, Classic Rock, and other live music fanatics! (Nothing wrong with any of that music, but there are no shufflers Sad

There'll probably be a few shufflers, we've had lots of visitors from the Austin area, they're probably just keeping a low profile with all the rock heads in town. Smile We had to do that in Melbourne, like the football grand final they get Meatloaf to do a live spot, with a couple of local rock acts. And they have these really really bad football songs from god knows when, I'd be embarrassed singing them out loud , but I have family members who love footy, so I just smile politely hehe

Crews are mainly groups of friends interested in shuffling. They can be casual things where you mainly chat online or you can all do something meetup, or do something bigger like HSQ guys in Florida.

It's really up to those in the crew to decide. You could start your own easy enough, just come up with a name and let everybody know on the forum.

Hahahaha thanks Garry, exact same down here! Yeah I think I would like a more casual scene unless I decide that I'd like to go big or go home.

The only problem is getting people to find out about the new group and making it and all. I don't want a group like NHS (Noob Hardstyle Shufflers) or anything but nothing Hardcore like HSQ or anything like that you know? The thing is, I know I can't run it I'm not a good enough shuffler (yet, I'm practicing) Thanks for the help though!

Funny thing we're all 15, our eldest is 16. and we have about 8-9 people so far, theres only 3 good ones, Me, Blaze, and Nova. We're actually looking at having a Meet this sunday at 4

Well I've been shuffling since i was about 12. The rest of the crew has only been shuffling since March but they're all decent. they just needa stop jumping when they do lol. Blaze And Nova are the only ones about my level, they've even developed their own style. We all live in Corpus Christi. So yeah.. We usually do meets at Sunrise Mall here. Sooo yeah If you wanna join it's cool with me. If not, oh well. Maybe one day we could have a battle with the other crew lol

I'm over in Austin... :/ Kinda a 4 hour drive, but if there comes a time when I might be in the area, I will defiantly give yall a heads up. I might make a video, cause the old one of me shuffling is at a slow song, and it was REally bad.... so yeah, might make another vid
