It's just the same beat in 10 bpm increments. That way you know roughly how fast you can shuffle, and you can work your way up to higher bpm songs.

I shuffle to this when i start to practice Then i dance to normally HS, but its useful.

HA i know some mixes of him i heard before because a friend of me is russian and hear his mixes ^^
there are some really niice mixes
but nowadays i shuffle preferably to slower tracks like MAS electro mixes ore vocal trance and so on.

yeah He does some masterful mixes, like serious radio sound art.

That DnB mix of 2008 can be really interesting to use when you've run out of ideas when making up a shuffle sequence.

To humanly dance to DnB, you have to half the tempo. So instead of 1 stomp per bass beat, you do one stomp per 2 bass beats. Or instead of 160 bpm you do 80 bpm - getting down to dub speeds.

You'll find youself in a completely different headspace when shuffling and that can open up lots of different ways of thinking, it forces you out of your comfort zone into a new environment to test different move sequences. To make it work you'll have to try all sorts of combinations then suddenly one combination will just click into place.

HEHE thanks Garry i know how to stomp on DnB tracks i dance DnB too and i train to DnB dance when i don´t want to shuffle because my room is too little xD
so @ home i train DnB and outwards I train in shuffling

After working on BITS Beat In The Street on 3RRR, Rod moved over to PBS Radio with his new show called TVE - Tronik Voodoo Exorcism.

These are the last remaining clips I can find in my archive.

They're from early 1993 FM radio broadcasts, recorded in my Commerce House Studio on a TEAC audio cassette deck, then captured as a 48,000Hz 16-bit wav file about a decade ago, and cleaned up and remastered by me on SONY Vegas Movie Studio HD 11, using SONY Track EQ and Sonic Foundry Wave Hammer in that sequence in the FX chain.

No auto gain on the Wavehammer Compressor, Compressor Ratio 3:1, no longer look ahead, and smooth saturation switched off. Kept crisp and clean.
