If anyone new is worried about posting a vid for a recruitment demo, just make your vid private on youtube and send the private link to the crew.
The crews are mostly interested in just seeing you in action to make sure you're a real person about the age etc you claim to be and size up your skill level.

Please bear with me, I'm new to this site, so replying and stuff may not be the best. Its not so much I'm scared of showing off me shuffling or putting it on youtube, its the fact that I can't really do the running man at fast enough speeds. This is partially due to the fact that I had "self taught" myself the wrong thing, so instead of the two step running man, I was doing a fast 1 step, which makes it look messy, puts my arse in the air, and makes me look like I'm a hopping tiptoeing failure at shuffling. I also want to be in a crew, cause it just has to be an awesome feeling to be with others who share a similar passion. Once again, bear with me, cause I feel like a giant noob to shuffling and everything

seriously dude its pretty much as garry said and also i used to do that 1 step thing as well. plus if we get a video you can just do as garry said and make it private. being in a crew means we help each other get better without tearing each other down. and honestly my first video of me shuffling sucked too. but ive gotten better because of some of the comments people have made here.

everyone is nervous. and it doesnt get better, im still nervous when i make a video and ive made a few for things other than the shuffle. what helps is just doing it. then the nervous energy can be transfered into the dance.

well just work on it slow then once you feel comfortable at that speed make it a little faster then so on. and youll be going really fast... well really fast.
