Most kids like it, because most kids here are pretty main-stream. The shuffling is cool to them I guess? But it's not enough to make them search up some legit shuffling videos.

Re: LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem
i think this video will make shuffleing more popular. i live in the U.S.A in New York state and i have yet to met anyone who listens to hardstyle or even know what shuffleing is. so far i had mabe like 50 of my friends come up to me and tell me about this video that say it made them think of me. but im not a fan of soft style not as much fun =)

Re: LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem
I dunno if its just me. But because of this site, I defend melbourne shuffling till the end. I just don't like that everyone who worked hard, like everyone here, is only know for "LMFAO" shuffling. But thats just me, and everyone who knows me very personally knows I don't "love" LMFAO. Also its just, the two are so different, but hey, thats just me

Re: LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem
hehe LMFAO gets coverage for all the wrong reasons, again ! Check out this Irish site for men called joe.ie. We'll let you click the link to see the pics, it's worth it.
Nice to see shuffling mentioned in relation to fashion, because it is. And understanding that just shuffling is not enough, you've got to shuffle well.
It's bad enough that the duo's Auto-tune-laden, electro tripe commits crimes against music, but crimes against fashion too?

LMFAO make us ROFL with dire Super Bowl outfits
If you're part of a dance duo that is basically this decade's version of the Outhere Brothers, there's no real fashion standards to maintain. Even that fails to explain LMFAO's fashion sense though.
Although LMFAO had the entire world shuffling along to 'Party Rock Anthem' last summer, we'd wager that their approach to their wardrobe is the same as an iPod shuffle playlist - completely random garments with no connection to one another.
Last weekend the two were part of the coveted Super Bowl half time slot and helped ongoing mid-life crisis victim Madonna mime her way through an exhausing (for the audience) set of the singer's hits from past and present.

We're printing this picture just to make it clear that Red Foo actually never looks well

Re: LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem
Hooray at LONG LONG last someone - David Burger from the Salt Lake Tribune to be precise, knows what he's talking about with shuffling (because he's done his research)
"Shuffling" is harder to define. Scholars say the dance is derived from the Melbourne Shuffle, a dance ravers have used in Australia’s underground electronic scene. While there are variations, for LMFAO shuffling generally involves some sort of toe-to-heel movement and is accompanied by exaggerated, cartoony arm movements.
Here's some excerpts from the article, well worth reading the whole lot

The most popular song of the summer of 2011 was LMFAO’s "Party Rock Anthem," though no one remembers it for the lyrics that included this puzzling rejoinder: "Yo, I’m runnin’ through these ho’s like Drano."
* I rarely listen to lyrics, more interested in the music, but had I listened and heard that woman haters line, I would of been less kind to LMFAO in my comments so far, what a bunch of pathetic dicks - Garry
----------------------
LMFAO came to attention several years ago with the dance hit "I’m In Miami Bitch," which frankly showed such a lack of craftsmanship that it’s hard to believe that SkyBlu and Redfoo are directly descended from Berry Gordy, the founder of the Motown record label.
But it wasn’t until 2011’s "Party Rock Anthem" and "I’m Sexy and I Know It" that the duo became larger than life and launched terms such as "party rock" and "shuffling" into popular culture. In addition, its lyrics sparked a recent national debate when a 6-year-old boy was suspended from his Denver-area school for three days earlier this month after it was reported that he told a girl, "I’m sexy and I know it."
----------------------------
The YouTube video for "Party Rock Anthem" has been viewed an unfathomable 439,494,013 times as of May 24. The song invites either immediate scorn or a headache, with its catchy chorus and jitter synths. Whatever your reaction, one thing is for sure: You won’t be able to get that squeaky electronic hook out of your head.
D.J. Dainjazone — pronounce it phonetically, and you’ll catch the meaning — has been with LMFAO for two years. In a Tribune interview, he recalled the first time he saw LMFAO unleash its "party rock" (which is not what the Urban Dictionary defines as crack cocaine) on a crowd. "I really didn’t know [about it] until I watched them at Tao in Las Vegas and the place just lost it," he said. "I knew it was a big deal."
To Dainjazone, "party rock is as simple as it sounds," he said. "It’s about creating a fun atmosphere for everyone, [and] taking it to the next level."

Here's the contest link for the original vid. The shufflers in it won a competition to be in the video, but they didn't get many entries and the winner only had 300 or so votes some just 30 or 3 you had to get to LA by yourself if selected.

LMFAO SUED $7mil
Rot in Hell redfoo, rip off.
------------------------------
The electronic duo LMFAO is now appearing at a trial before the California Labor Commissioner, and the dispute with ex-management firm RPMGRP over $7 million in money allegedly owed is exploring the finer nuances of the "remix."
To quickly review what has happened until this point, LMFAO members Stefan Kendal Gordy (Redfoo) and Skyler Austen Gordy (SkyBlu) were first sued in March 2012 by RPMGRP, a firm run by Rene McLean. The lawsuit alleged that after LMFAO skyrocketed toward success with hits like "Party Rock Anthem" and "Sexy and I Know It," the electronic duo "thanked their managers who took them 'from 0 to 60' by throwing them under the tour bus (i.e. firing them). Instead of hiring new managers, LMFAO then poached two employees of the original managers, hiring them on a salary instead of paying a commission to the original managers."
