Gliding side to side

Hello all , im new to this forum been shuffling for 2.5 years now.
Anyway I really would like to know what this move is called when a person glides to one side then does some kind of hop and it looks really fast.

i looks like he is just sliding to one side really fast

I tried slowing down the video and from what I could see , he did a regular shuffle glide and than started sliding until the end of the side , the question is how does he do that slide thing?

To glide you FAKE IT, that's what it's suppossed to be, a visual joke. So you actually have very little weight on your gliding foot, you just make it look like it's gliding with the illusion there is a lot of weight on it. You pull the weight back in your balance on your grounding foot.

It's a simple magic trick Smile

It's worth learning the elements that make magic work to use in your dance.
ILLUSION is pretty near the top of the list.
