Welcome to the official GS2 (Global Shuffle 2) Production blog.

We are in the pre-production stage and looking for new talent to appear in GS2. In coming weeks we will be posting more detail about what we are looking for specifically, and how to get involved.

This pre-production process includes GS2 contract signings and we expect to conclude this stage as quickly as possible to get into some shooting this approaching northern summer 2011.

We have now entered the production stage of GS2.

The winners of the Global Shuffle Competition are being contacted at the moment to see if they're still interested in a contract. We'll be making the official announcement in a month or so.

We're begining the transfer process of some more oldskool video footage, this time from Adelaide (February/March 1992) about 10 hours drive from Melbourne in a rented truck full of art installation gear TV moniters and sculpture panels with uncured Polyester Fibreglass resin still drying and stinking, in the back.

Splinters 'Cathedral Of Flesh', Old Adelaide Gaol 1992 Fringe Festival. It's a 19 cent jail, now disused. Half the crew lived in the jail during the production over a month or two, the other half wouldn't dream of it. An extraordinary time especially in the live pyro show near the end, and then doing the Imagineer Parties at the Lion Centre around the corner, everyone was cleared out by ASIO and SWAT teams at dawn to make room for the Queen (of England)'s visit The Snuffies (Snuff Puppetts) tried to give the Queen some flowers I'll show pics, they have to be transfered from Super 8mm film (Silent).

There was some great after show parties in the court yard afterwards. I slept in a different cell each night and on death row the final night before coming back to Melbounre to do the TVU parties. After all, how often do you get to sleep on death row and leave when ever you feel like it ?
