need some tips and opinions!?!
hey wassup guys, im new to MSO, i first tried last year and never really really practiced til about 2 months ago. well about 5 11, 210 lbs so i think im a little too heavy and im 23. honestly i think im kinda out of shape lol, i can do running mans and t steps and spins but it just doesnt look and feel smooth. i go for about 1 minute and my thighs start tightening up, im outta breath lol. people say i dont look right cause im bigger and i look stiff, i notice i dont stand straight when i do my running mans either i hunch forward. and i cant do it to really fast songs. i really wanna get better cause it feels right when the music is goin ill post up a few videos soon too but i just think i suck, well whatever comment sand opinions will def help thanks! express not impress!

Hi Nikky P welcome to the forum.
Definetly be careful with a bigger body mass, the weight even if it's all muscle will really hit your joints hard.
It's impressive that you can do running man, that hardstyle would be the most physically demanding.
Try moves that don't involve the thumping down, so the shuffle/tstep is good and spins.
Don't worry too much about the looking right, you'll find ways to look good as you practice. And your muscle tone will improve with the workouts
Mostly just concentrate on building the muscle strength to cope with dance.
There's a lot of big guys in classical ballet, because the girls are usually tall with well toned body muscle (muscle is heavier than fat) and they need a big guy who can swoop them off their feet, and hold them in the air for a while

Dude, believe me, I started shuffling a week ago, and I couldn't do anything, so your already better then me. But when everyone says "practice" it works more then anything. I'm sure you'll learn and be a great shuffler, just with time, like everyone
Good luck,
Cheers

Haha Hardstyle is my Exercise
But yeah I'm pretty heavy too for my size..
big Boned... fml
Don't ever feel awkward when you shuffle! Confidence is key, you'll hesitate less, the moves and more importantly TRANSITIONS will look better which will truly make your shuffle look beast!
I've been shuffling for almost 9 months now, but I do better than some of my friends who've been doing it over a year now, and I know exactly how you feel.
So don't worry, keep up the practice and exercise and you'll do awesome!
