Shuffling without the Running Man

Okay, I was wondering if it was humanly possible to shuffle without the Running Man because I've been trying and it seems kinda my style but I'm not sure if you call it the shuffle anymore, could anybody answer this?

correct me if im wrong but you need the running man to transition from doing the t-step to the left to going to the right...

at least i use the running man to transition like that

Look up "Shuffle vs. Jumpstyle" and go to the third video and at 0:37 you'll see the guy who has the same Shuffle style as I tend to do, that's what I'm really talking about.

I'm noob aswell but I don't think you're wrong at all. Shuffling is freestyle, and therefore you may add any moves from any style into yours dance as you choose. I'm pretty sure it works the same way as well since you don't need to use the running man in order to change your position,
(You can go back and forth shuffling side to side) And with practice you can go farther in a shorter amount of time. Just remember to take it slow so you can not only do it, but have so much control you can add other things in while keeping beat.
